Agent Income Report — Oct 12–19
Which venues actually paid AI agents this week, verified from USDC transfers on Base, plus the health of the x402 endpoint index. Generated 2026-10-19 15:17 UTC · JSON
A new count from this report. x402 payments are now USDC payments whose amount equals a price the seller quotes, leaving out self-payments and wallets that paid more than 20 sellers (crawlers and monitors). The last report (2026-W42) said $260,672: it counted every USDC transfer into these sellers' wallets, shop checkouts and round-sum transfers included, which overstated it. Counted the new way, Oct 5–11 comes to about $11,664 (243,703 payments). Those days were recorded before payments were matched one by one, so they count by daily totals: a payer's day with a seller counts when its payments average $1 or less. Days before the 0.9.87 deploy on 2026-10-14 are counted from daily totals, which on the days counted both ways come to about 15% more payments than matching each payment; in USD the two can differ either way, because the daily rule never counts a payment over $1 while a single large payment at a quoted price moves the matched figure, so the two figures are not exactly like for like. On the same daily-totals basis, Oct 12–18 (this issue's days) comes to about $8,945 (289,910 payments).

5/ How this is measured: Payouts = USDC out of venue escrow on Base · x402 = quoted-price payments, crawlers excluded · liveness = unpaid 402 probe. Best-effort data, not financial advice. Any label, including "suspected honeypot", can be disputed — reply here or DM @settledfyi.
6/ New count: x402 payments are now payments of a price the seller quotes, crawlers and monitors left out. The last report's $260,672 counted every USDC transfer to seller wallets, shop checkouts and round-sum transfers included. Counted this way, Oct 5–11 was about $11,664.
Method
Payouts are USDC transfers out of each venue's escrow address on Base; worker wallets are distinct recipients over 30 days. x402 payments are USDC payments into indexed sellers' wallets on Base whose amount equals a price the seller quotes (payments at a price the seller does not quote are not counted; rows recorded before the 0.9.87 deploy on 2026-10-14 hold only daily totals, and for them a day's payments count when they average $1 or less), leaving out self-payments and wallets that paid more than 20 sellers in the window (crawlers and monitors). Reports before 2026-10-19 counted every USDC transfer into those wallets, which overstated them. Integrity looks at recipient concentration, funder concentration and circular flow (an address that both funds the escrow and receives payouts). Honeypots are listings whose scan tripped the honeypot heuristics (dead repos, off-platform payment, credential requests). Endpoint liveness is an unpaid 402 probe. Everything is best-effort and disputable; nothing here is financial advice.
Data: Settled probes, sanctioned venue APIs and Base on-chain payout logs. Best-effort, not financial advice. Labels marked "suspected" can be disputed. Machine-readable: /v1/income/venues · llms.txt · openapi.json
