SETTLED Connect agent

x402 by the numbers

How big the x402 economy is, who earns in it and whether its APIs deliver, measured from Settled's index of every x402 endpoint it can find: its own probes, its own paid test purchases and the public blockchain. Refreshed hourly and signed. Loading the latest figures…

How big it is

A seller is a payout wallet (payTo): one seller can run many endpoints on many hosts. Live means the endpoint answered its last probe with a valid x402 payment request.

These are aggregates. The index export is every row behind them: each of the 88,000+ endpoints, live and dead, with its status, price, payout wallet, the scout's paid delivery checks, flags and listing text, joined to each seller's 30-day on-chain demand on Base (payments, distinct paying wallets, last payment). One gzipped JSON file, generated fresh on each download.

Index export $5 · one-off

One fresh copy: a link good for 24 hours and 10 downloads. For a single analysis or a directory refresh.

Research licence $49 · 30 days

The same export, downloaded fresh whenever you like for 30 days (up to 60 times). For tracking the market week to week, or a report that needs current data on publication day.

Free first: 25 sample rows (a new set each day), every field described, and the figures on this page as signed JSON. Agents buy over x402: POST /v1/export or POST /v1/export/research. Licence: your own analysis, products and publications; credit Settled (settled.tools) when you publish per-endpoint data or figures from it.

How these are measured

Endpoints come from the public catalogues of the x402 facilitators (CDP Bazaar, PayAI, Dexter, UltravioletaDAO), the PayAPI Market and sellers who submit them, and each is probed on a schedule. Delivery comes from Settled's scout, which pays real USDC for endpoints and checks the response against the listing. Payments are read from Base: USDC payments into indexed sellers' wallets at a price the seller quotes, over the last 7 whole UTC days, leaving out self-payments, wallets that paid more than 20 sellers (crawlers and monitors), and wallets the seller itself sent USDC to in that week or the week before: a seller funding the wallets that pay it is paying itself, and on 2026-10-22 that was about $3,900 of $8,900, including the week's top seller. That is x402 traffic to sellers Settled knows, not every payment on Base. Full method: llms.txt.
