Claim your endpoints
Sign once with the wallet your x402 endpoints are paid to, and Settled marks every endpoint paid to that wallet as yours, on every host and subdomain. No key files, no email loop. Signing is free and moves no money.
- Connect the payout wallet, or type its address (Base
0x…or Solana). - Optionally add the name, website, contact and docs you want agents to see.
- Sign the message. That's it: endpoints you add later are covered too.
A claim shows that you control the payout wallet, nothing more: it never changes a score, and the profile you publish is shown as yours, not verified by Settled.
Server wallet?
If your payout wallet lives on a server, claim over the API. The first call returns the exact message and what it covers; sign that message with the payout wallet (EIP-191 personal_sign on Base, ed25519 over the UTF-8 text on Solana) and send it back within 15 minutes.
curl -s https://settled.tools/v1/claim -H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"wallet":"0xYOUR_PAYTO","name":"Your name","website":"https://example.com"}'
# → 400 signature_required, with message_to_sign, issued_at and would_cover
curl -s https://settled.tools/v1/claim -H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"wallet":"0xYOUR_PAYTO","name":"Your name","website":"https://example.com",
"issued_at":"<from the first answer>","signature":"0x…"}'
Agents can do the same through the MCP tool settled_claim. Claimed sellers are listed at /v1/sellers.
Passing the delivery checks
Settled's scout buys listed endpoints from time to time and compares what comes back with your own listing, nothing else. To pass:
- Put a real sample response, or a schema with required fields, in your listing.
- Return those fields in the same structure. Extra fields are fine.
- Make your listing's example input real: the scout calls you with it.
- Charge the price you list, and never send the sample back as the product.
- Keep responses under 25 MB. Big lists are spot-checked at random, so every record has to be real.
- Report problems honestly. A disclosed problem (
degraded, stale) counts for much less than a broken response.
Fixed something? Once you've claimed, one re-test a week is free for endpoints priced up to $0.25: sign with your payout wallet at /buy instead of paying. Any other re-test is POST /v1/retest with {"url": "..."} and $2 over x402, and the scout buys from you right away. Several endpoints? The same $2 re-tests your whole fleet: POST /v1/retest/fleet with {"wallet": "0x..."} buys from every live endpoint paid to your claimed wallet, up to 25, never-delivered ones first. You are charged only if it completes a purchase, and the result is public, marked as requested, and judged like any other.
Show "Checked by Settled" on your site
Every indexed endpoint has a public page and a live badge that links to it. The badge says the current state and when Settled last checked, refreshes within five minutes, and says so when a purchase fails, so a buyer can trust it the way they cannot trust a badge that was earned once. A buyer who clicks it lands on the live check, receipt included.
Paste this, with your endpoint's URL in both places. Markdown:
HTML:
<a href="https://settled.tools/e?url=https://your-api.example/route"><img src="https://settled.tools/badge.svg?url=https://your-api.example/route" alt="Checked by Settled" height="20"></a>
Each endpoint's own page has the same two snippets filled in (the badge link beside each endpoint below, once you have loaded them). Your whole wallet gets a badge too: https://settled.tools/badge/seller/0xYOUR_PAYTO.svg says what the scout has bought from you, for example "bought 12× · all delivered".
Seller Watch: hear about it before it costs you
Renew it, or buy a re-test, from a browser wallet at /buy.
Claiming turns on Seller Watch for 10 days, free. Settled records an alert when its scout pays one of your endpoints and gets nothing usable back (strike one toward a hold) or something other than what your listing promises, when one of your endpoints stops being payable, comes back, changes price (a price that moves with its inputs is reported once, with its band, then only when it leaves the band) or asks buyers to pay a different wallet (checked about every 15 minutes: up to 250 endpoints during the free 10 days, which include Seller Watch Plus, then 25 or up to 250 depending on what you renew; you can choose which below: the Watchdog, included), when your wallet goes on hold, when the hold lifts, and a week and a day before the watch ends. Read them at GET /v1/seller-watch/alerts?wallet=; if the contact on your claim is an email address they are emailed to it as well, and if it is an https URL they are POSTed to it as signed JSON. With no contact, the alert still reaches your access log (the probe's User-Agent names the status and the endpoint's page, and on your own host each change sends one request to /settled-alert/…) and your own agent (answers about your endpoints carry seller_alerts when its payer record is your wallet). After the 10 days, POST /v1/seller-watch with {"wallet": "..."} and $5 over x402 adds 30 days with 25 endpoints checked, and POST /v1/seller-watch/plus with $15 adds 30 days of Plus: up to 250; a year is $50 or $150 (/v1/seller-watch/year, /v1/seller-watch/plus/year), or buy any of them with a browser wallet at /buy. Nothing renews on its own: the reminders carry a one-step renewal, and a price rise is announced 30 days ahead (the terms). The feed only repeats what is already public at /v1/deliveries and /v1/payto.
Choose which endpoints are checked
Seller Watch checks 25 of your endpoints about every 15 minutes, and Seller Watch Plus up to 250 (the free 10 days after a claim include Plus). If you don't choose, it keeps the ones it already watches, then picks live endpoints, best first. To choose, load your endpoints, tick the ones that matter most (up to what your plan checks) and sign with the payout wallet. Signing moves no money. Signing with none ticked goes back to the automatic choice. A new choice takes effect at the next check, within 15 minutes.
Over the API: GET /v1/seller-watch?wallet= lists your endpoints with picked and watched; POST /v1/seller-watch/endpoints with {"wallet", "urls": [...]} returns the message to sign, then send it back with issued_at and signature.
